ONE MONTH AGO...

our lives were filled with lots of spare time, full nights of sleep, and plenty of alone time for just trae and i...

but i sure wouldn't trade the past thirty-plus days for anything.

Last Sunday Avery turned one month old. I cant believe how quickly time has gone by..seems like just yesterday we were bringing this little doll home from the hospital. Little Ave is just growing like a weed.. (everyone warned me that would happen.) She is so much fun and keeps me busy all day long. Ave has been sleeping pretty good at nights.. last night she only got up once.. (i've got my fingers crossed for tonight..but dont have my hopes up quite yet.) My sister keeps teasing avery about her increasing number of chins.. even so.. we still think she pretty darn cute.

As of lately some of her favorite things include.. taking naps with dad (which happens to be one of his favorite things as well), eating pretty much every two hours on the dot, taking baths, being cuddled and talked to, and of course sleeping. She gotten pretty good at letting her mom and dad know exactly when she is hungry, tired, or bored. Even though being a mom is sometimes challenging and overwhelming..i sure cant imagine life without this little gal.

sorry for the length between posts. I've been busy kissing this sweet thing all day long. She has been quite the angel...give and take a few little episodes... Avery makes her mom and dad smile all day long.. I could just stare at her and never get sick of it. My lil sister snapped a few shots of her the other night. we think she is pretty dang cute. We'll keep you updated on how

SHE'S HERE!

the little lady came to join us today @ 1:20, weighing in @ 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 19 inches long. I'll post some pics for lis tomorrow when i get a minute. Still no name, but hopefully by tomorrow.

come on baby....

Hey friends...its meag here, blogging for lis. They just got moved into their new place in Logan, and don't have the internet as of now, so she asked me to do an update so that her next post wouldn't say...suprise the baby is here. Its still not here, Lis is due next friday.

Heres the latest...On Monday she went in for an ultra sound because she was measuring low....(well of course she was...look at that little belly) and the doc said he had never in his career seen anyone as little as her @ 38 weeks. He said the little gal looks healthy, but lis has a low level of amniotic fluid, so they were needin to watch that a bit. Yesterday, she had to go in for another appointment and her doc put her on bed rest for 24 hours, to see if they could get the fluid levels up a bit. so she just has been chillin in bed, on her left side, drinking a ridiculous amount of water. So, she goes in for another check-up today...if her fluid levels aren't up, they might start her....she's hoping not though.
Were all getting pretty excited that this little princess might be here any day. lis is seriously going to be such a good mom. we can't wait!

I'll keep you updated on what the doc says today, or when the sweet girl get to us.

just to let you know..

i just went to my very last college class EVER. boy that feels good.. its even better that the only final i have is open book, open note, and online. life is great!

pregnancy is going great and i've only got FIVE weeks left.. how cool is that!

we found a place to live in logan, i've got a great new doctor and we are moving out of provo next Friday...only bad thing is that we cant move into our new place til like january 5th... hope this little girl doesnt decide to come early and hope our parents are ready for a few intruders for the next few weeks.

my sister just got back from Mexico (i'm a little jealous) and i have been waiting all day to talk to her. she just called!! its harder than you would think to go a whole week with out talking to the one person ( besides your husband) that you talk to everyday.

i love this time of year... dont you?! theres so much to be thankful for even if life seems hectic, crazy and out of control sometimes... it could always be worse. Christmas is only 14 days away..hope your Christmas shopping is going better than mine.

well..thats just a little update..hopefully i can post soon with some pictures (i've been bad at that lately).
